By adhering to the principles set forth in the Code of cultural heritage regarding the protection and usability of cultural heritage, in compliance with the standards for the cataloguing and digitisation of cultural heritage, the museum medals and coins collections and the storerooms of the Superintendencies that are presented in the virtual showcases section systematically and progressively contribute to compose and increase the Museo Numismatico Virtuale on this website, adhering to the "Medaglieri italiani" project.
